If there is such a way to reduce daily smoke inhalation, reduce fuel use, and quickly bring benefits. It is the best choice to replace more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly stoves. In 2016, China actively promoted the “the Belt and Road” policy of low prices, so that people in relevant countries can get more affordable imported products. In the past 6 years, SSM and our partners have sold nearly 500,000 stoves in Cambodia, Indonesia, Myanmar, East Timor, Laos, and India, earning millions of carbon credits and reducing the multimillion square deforestation.
Traditional stoves in Southeast Asia:
The living conditions of the local people are poor, and a large number of trees have been cut down to be used for charcoal or firewood. According to our understanding of the local people, the kitchen environment at home is deviated, mainly based on the original stove, which produces a lot of black smoke during cooking, which seriously affects the health of the local people.
SSM Clean Woodstove
Compared with the 15% combustion efficiency of local traditional stoves, SSM's clean wood stove has a combustion efficiency of 38%, and carbon monoxide emissions are reduced by 80%, which greatly saves cooking time and improves the cooking environment.
Stove knowledge popularization meeting:
We demonstrated the correct way of using SSM stoves to local representatives and regional leaders, and let them learn the operation process, precautions, and maintenance methods of the product through direct interpretation. It also promoted the drawbacks of traditional stoves and encouraged the use of clean, high-efficiency and energy-saving stoves to replace outdated original stoves. At the same time, we listened to the suggestions of local representatives and further improved the details of our products based on their usage habits and customs. In the future, we will continue to share our experience in research, development and promotion of clean stoves and fuels.
